What’s New in 2026

I have a lot of irons in the fire for 2026.

First off, I plan on really buckling down and training for a 5K race, personal goal.

Secondly, I plan on eating healthier and losing weight, personal goal.

Then I only have to go over edits and format my next book in the “Moonbound” series before I can publish it, hopefully in February. Also with that February date, a couple is opening a bookstore in my town. I am going to contact them about carrying my book. Personal goals.

I am also going to try to do some reviving of my baking business. Mostly for my coworkers, family and friends, personal goal.

Furthermore, I hope to work on and complete several of my crochet projects, which have taken me far too long to finish, personal goal.

I also am going to continue to learn languages through self study/duolingo. Spanish being the main focus, with German as a secondary focus, personal goal.

Finally, I am going to read more, which includes my professional goals, as well as, my personal goals.

Professionally, I am going to keep doing my best at my current employer. I am going to help facilitate a community garden project with PSR. Also going to present on composting, and possibly do an “Art” day. I also hope to go to the Missouri Statewide CIT conference in April.

So, 2026 is going to be pretty busy. I am excited to see all of these endeavors take off.
